One of the five national parks in Utah, Arches National Park is home to over 2,000 naturally formed arches. Along with the amazing hikes to Delicate Arch, Devil's Garden, and Balancing Rock, there are an excellent selection of optional activities. Moab is known to have some of the world's best mountain biking trails. The so-called "slickrock" sandstone, which forms the majority of the trail's surface, is not slick at all, but has a surface much like sandpaper. The rubber tires of a mountain bike or off-road motorcycle will grip readily to its surface on all but the steepest hills.
